Worship at St. Columba’s has a familiar Protestant feel that is still accessible and open to visitors from all faith traditions, and we would love to have you join us! Our church is a short walk from Oktogon, one of the most important junctions in Budapest at the intersection of the Grand Boulevard and Andrássy Avenue. Oktogon is a prominent octagonal intersection and is part of the 4/6 tram line as well as the M1 line of the Budapest Metro

Welcoming Children

Our congregation is like a family, and families should be welcoming of children.  During our worship services, there is a moment just for the children, when the minister will present a message related to the sermon, but in a way shaped especially for children.  Sometimes puppets are used, at other times a new song is taught or the minister shares a story from his or her own childhood.  (Actually, adults enjoy these messages, too!)

After the children’s talk, children are invited to Sunday School, where songs, crafts, and conversation help the children understand that week’s main message and the driving message of our children’s ministry: You are loved!
